Finding the Right Class Level

Here’s a breakdown of our class levels to help you choose where to start. Levels are a guide, not a measure of your worth as a dancer. Taking a level once doesn’t mean you’ve mastered it, and taking an advanced class doesn’t automatically make you an advanced dancer.

Ask your teacher for a recommendation, take your time, and repeat a level whenever it helps. Strong dancers build solid technique, but they also learn to care for their partners, listen to the music, play, and find new possibilities in what they already know.

Learning to dance isn’t a race. We all arrive with different experiences and learn at different speeds. Wherever you’re starting, we’ll help you find a class where you can learn, feel challenged, and enjoy the journey.
